Lorne was born in Bancroft and now resides in Lakefield Ontario. He started playing mandolin at age five with his family. From there it was on to the guitar and Dobro. 

Lorne met Dale and Terry through a mutual friend and great guitar player Neil Gould. He now has also taken up the 5 string banjo and dobro. Lorne enjoys singing lead as well as harmony vocals with Keslering Ridge. 

When he is not playing music enjoys fishing, travelling, going to Bluegrass Festivals and spending time with family and friends.
